French man, wearing a beret, eating a crepe in front of a creperie.

Crepes and coffee

The menu at The Crepe Shop is a paradise for crepe, sugar, and carbohydrate enthusiasts. Whether you have a penchant for sweet or savory, there’s a crepe to suit every craving. Indulge in a classic Nutella and strawberry combination, where the rich chocolate hazelnut spread harmonizes with the sweetness of fresh berries, all wrapped in a delicate crepe.

Needless to say, this particular crepe selection is tasty, and given the ingredients, it is likely to dance around your digestive track as well.

The Poopable staff took note that the crepes at The Crepe Shop are culinary works of art. Seriously, the staff at the restaurant are no ordinary restaurant servers. The ingredients are thoughtfully selected, ensuring that every bite is a harmonious blend of complementary flavors.

They take pride in crepes they set in front of their patrons.

The crepes and the coffee at The Crepe Shop are meticulously crafted with care and precision, resulting in a symphony of textures and flavors that dance on your palate. The thin, perfectly cooked crepe provides a delicate and slightly crisp exterior, giving way to a luscious filling that bursts with taste.

Beyond the crepes, The Crepe Shop offers wide range of coffee selections that bode well to a French creperie.

La situation des toilettes

However, the combination of coffee, carbs and a whole mess of sugar will undoubtedly wreak havoc on even the strongest of stomachs. After dining at The Crepe Shop, your bowels are going to need to be liberated like France, 1945. Fortunately, The Crepe Shop offers a pretty cozy, private restroom getaway.

The bathroom is tucked-away in the back of the store. The restroom at The Crepe Shop is like Bordeaux or Nice, France. It’s generally not trafficked all that much despite the location attracting a large crowd.

“Les toilettes,” are through an area that looks as though only employees are allowed to pass, and there are no signs that would elude a patron to think the restaurant offers a public restroom.

While there are not any signs in the restaurant, the signs and décor of the bathroom are on point. The restroom seemingly feels like an apartment bathroom you may find on Airbnb for a vacation to Paris.

The bathroom is quite clean, likely due to a combination of an attentive staff and it’s back-area location. The home-worthy detail in the bathroom is remarkable, especially the floor tiling which diffidently fits the, “mis en scene” of a French creperie.

From the patterned tile to the linen, vintage-style knotted yarn, the bathroom is a welcome place to unload a belly full of powdered sugar and cappuccino.

Unlike an actual French bathroom, this one does not smell like hand-rolled cigarettes.

The sink area is accented by a framed mirror and a welcome, non-overflowing trashcan. There is also a curious antique, dresser drawer. It can be safe to assume this stocked with spare black berets, because… the French.

Its intimate size creates a sense of privacy, allowing you to enjoy a few moments of solitude. It’s the perfect place to reflect on the gastronomic adventure you’ve just embarked upon while releasing any unnecessary baggage.

Is The Crepe Shop Poopable?

The bathroom at The Crepe Shop will likely be a necessary pit stop after a peanut butter packed crepe. Luckily the staff at Poopable agree that this little creperie has a toilet that is, “magnifique,” and very Poopable.

The bathroom, although slightly hard to find, is an extension of the establishment’s overall charm and a welcome venue for you to bid bon voyage to your crepe-infused poo.
