Man riding down a street on a toilet

Custom toilet owners beware!

A case of grand theft toilet is unwinding in the small town of Mukilteo, Washington.

This past weekend, a beloved, retrofitted toilet, featured in town parades was maliciously stolen by a from the Stollwerck Plumbing and Sewer building.

The owner of the retrofitted toilet on wheels, J.D. Stollwerck told local news outlets that the motor-powered potty cost about $2,000 to build. Sadly, it was also noted that pieces of porcelain appeared to be found not too far away from the scene of the crime.

Surveillance video displayed an unknown potty thief, dressed in camouflage, dragging the go-kart away from the premises of the local business.

A toilet locked to a wall

Lock your doors… and toilets!

According to the Stollwerck Plumbing and Sewer website, J.D. Stollwerck is the owner and Christina Stollwerck is the office manager. The business boasts over 50-years of experience, serving the community’s plumbing and sewer needs.

Crime prevention officer Nathan Fabia told local news, “they are respected and well-loved within the community,” and the go-kart, which was primarily used for advertising, always provided a dose of humor for locals.

According to reports, the popular attraction was not locked. However, can you really blame the Stollwercks? What thief thinks that such a unique toilet would not immediately be associated with the true owners?

Not even motor-powered potties are safe.

Luckily, the fine civil servants of the Mukilteo Police Department are on the case. They recently posted about the crime across their social media accounts.

According to local reports, the business is handling this stinky situation in jest, by posting a sign outside their organization.

“Hey, Thief! We want our parade kart back. Love, The Plumbers.”

Stollwerck’s company is underserving of such thievery!

The staff at Poopable support all those willing to rubber-glove-up, unsheathe a plunger and help fellow poopers in distress.

So until this potty culprit is captured, the best way to support Stollwerck Plumbing and Sewer is to utilize their many services.
