A couple getting married in the bathroom.

Kentucky couple exchanges wedding vows in a gas station bathroom!

Love knows no bounds, and for one Kentucky couple, that meant exchanging their wedding vows in an unexpected venue: a gas station bathroom.

Logen Abney and Tiana Alistock decided to tie the knot inside the men’s restroom at a local HOP Shops location in Verona, Kentucky, on Valentine’s Day, making their special day one to remember.

Alistock, who works at the gas station, wanted something unique for their wedding ceremony. “I wanted something a little different. Didn’t want to just get married in a typical chapel, or you know, go to the church. I wanted something fun to tell my kids. Something fun. A good experience,” she explained.

After brainstorming, she found inspiration in the disco-themed bathroom at the gas station, known for its colorful light display at the push of a button.

The couple’s decision raised eyebrows but also piqued curiosity.

“We decided to get married in the disco bathroom unexpectedly. It started off as a joke between me and one of my bosses, kind of a, ‘Well, why not?’ situation that took off in ways I couldn’t even explain,” Alistock shared. Despite initial skepticism, they were excited about their unique wedding venue choice.

The gas station’s management embraced the idea, even issuing a media release about the festive event. The bathroom was transformed into a vibrant setting with disco balls hanging from the ceiling, creating a magical ambiance for the ceremony.

Guests, including friends and family, gathered around, ready to witness the unconventional union.

As the bride made her entrance down the makeshift aisle, marked by a sign announcing the “Disco bathroom wedding in session,” the couple exchanged vows surrounded by love and laughter.

Instead of the traditional kiss, they pressed a button that activated the disco lights and played “Forever and Ever, Amen” by Randy Travis, adding a touch of whimsy to their celebration.

While some may have raised eyebrows at their unconventional choice of venue, Alistock and Abney have no regrets.

“I was like, well, it’s definitely going to be kind of different, but kind of cool, too, because like I said, ‘I ain’t never been in a gas station bathroom where you can push a button and disco lights come on,'” Logen shared.

Their willingness to embrace the unconventional serves as an inspiration for couples to celebrate love in their own unique way.

Despite any mixed reviews, the couple is basking in the joy of married life.

“Married life has been amazing. We absolutely love each other and nothing can ever change that,” Alistock expressed. Their wedding may have been unconventional, but their love story is one for the books, proving that love knows no boundaries, even in a gas station bathroom.

The staff at Poopable are hoping to get in touch with the newly weds. We’re assuming since they exchanged vows in the bathroom that the station is no doubt considered Poopable. However, we’d like to get the official thumbs up or thumbs down.
