A prankster being arrested.

Some pranks are cheeky and funny, others are cruel and smelly…

A Euro-based YouTuber, known for pranking unknowing strangers and bystanders was recently arrested for taking his pranks way too far.

The arrested individual, “YaNike,” has a small YouTube channel with fewer than 300 subscribers. A chunk of his videos, titled “Surprise du chef,” depicts him mixing up a bucket of a variety of substances and then taking said bucket of unmentionables onto a bus or train, and then pouring it on someone else.

In no way do that staff at Poopable salute this complete lack of creativity. According to social media comments and witnesses, the buckets YaNike throws on people contain beer, water, paint, food… and dog poop.

We won’t show the video because it’s lame, like YaNike

The staff at Poopable appreciate a good prank. Needless to say, if you’re going to work at Poopable, chances are you’ll be the butt-end of a joke or two within short order. However, there are funny gags that are worthy for social media and then there are dark stunts clearly done for clicks.

YaNike was arrested in Belgium earlier this month. Apparently no one thought dumping an entire bucket of dog crap on an unsuspecting metro passenger was funny. We are sure Belgians have a decent sense of humor, and can take a joke. Obviously, they’ve dealt with North American attempts to improve upon their beer and waffles without giving us too hard of a time about it.

Transit riders in Belgium beware!

Thankfully Belgium authorities were sick of YaNike’s dull, sticky and smelly antics. The YouTuber was arrested and charged with assault and battery, as well as damage to property using violence and property damage in the first week of 2024.

Belgian prosecutors are already using the failed prankster’s YouTube channel as evidence as several of his videos depict variations of the same “prank.”

Public pranks like this can actual be mistaken as genuine security concerns or potential threats of violence. Sadly the internet is littered with “YouTube prank gone wrong” stories that do end in people being seriously hurt or killed.

There are a fair amount of visceral comments on social media flying around about YaNike. Some go as far as to suggest for the judge to recommend a lengthy maximum sentence to serve as an example or warning to other would-be noncreative pranksters.

Sure, most of us have not weaponized a bucket of animal crap, but we’ve all done some things we regret.

The staff at Poopable recognize that YaNike is a young kid trying to make a name and standout via the world of social media. A lot of poopers out there grew-up pre-social media and even pre-internet. We’re all guilty of doing idiotic things in our adolescence.

It’s likely this entire legal system experience will likely knock the animal poo right out of YaNike’s pranks. Perhaps, if YaNike pulled the same prank on an unsuspecting good (very good) friend or family member, we all might be laughing.

We at Poopable firmly believe that assaulting a stranger with poop is certainly not poopable!

Does this story rumble your tummy? We’d love to hear from ya! Shoot us a note! Or drop a comment on this article or any others that flush your senses.
