A roll of toilet paper sitting next to a globe of earth

Your butt can save trees too…

Technology markets always seem to be the “hip” places where younger generations feel like they’ll make the biggest impact on their community or world. So it should come as no surprise that innovators in the marketplace or disrupters in business do not usually gravitate toward the bathroom game.

One of the perks of being a part of Poopable is our ability to discover and learn about organizations that are really thinking outside of the generalized spectrum regarding bathroom products.

One of our hipster staff members was recently raving about ECO SOUL and how their toilet paper is made without trees… Needless to say, we all wondered how this could even be possible and about the good it could do for the environment.

Bamboo Toilet Paper – without the panda

According to the ECO SOUL website, the organization “up-cycle[s] plant waste, transform leaves and rel[ies] on some of the fastest replenishing renewable resources to replace plastic altogether. From palm leaf plates to sugarcane fiber bowls and bamboo serving trays, our products are certified compostable, plastic-free and toxin-free.”

Sure, that sounds fancy and science-y. However, our staff was pretty curious on the topic of turning panda food into a cleansing paper for our butts. To our surprise, ECO SOUL does seem to be quite the mother-earth-friendly way to wipe your keister.

Simply defined, bamboo toilet paper is a type of toilet paper made from bamboo pulp. It’s considered a more sustainable alternative to traditional toilet paper. Regular TP is often made from virgin wood pulp, which is less sustainable for the environment.

Bamboo TP helps equalize the carbon footprint – because your farts won’t!

A major earth-friendly factoid about bamboo is that it’s a fast-growing plant that requires less water and fewer pesticides than traditional trees used for paper production. Hence why the toilet paper is praised for its environmental benefits, including its renewable nature and reduced impact on forests.

Additionally, bamboo has natural antibacterial properties. These means your butt will not only be clean but healthy!

It is important to acknowledge that the environmental impact of any product also depends on factors like the manufacturing processes. ECO SOUL’s major initiative and branding point is the use of recycled material as well as an emphasis on sustainability.

“We practice sustainability like a lifestyle. With us, sustainability doesn’t have to be super intimidating. A change, as small as switching to eco-friendly home essential products, can go a long way to reducing your carbon footprint.”

Is ECO SOUL Poopable?

The staff at Poopable are always looking for ways to keep the planet in solid working order. ECO SOUL’s toilet paper allows a pooper an option to go green in the bathroom. For this reason alone we are confidently stating that bamboo TP is absolutely poopable.

The staff at Poopable believe that these are nice to have choices when browsing the digital or physical bathroom product aisles. And don’t worry, if you’re a pooper worried about butt-comfort, ECO SOUL went triple-ply on their toilet paper.
